Position:

The administrative assistant is an individual who relishes the opportunity to build, implement, and manage multiple systems. The Administrative Assistant is deeply committed to completing tasks the right way with a high degree of quality. This person has immense focus and can do one thing for a long time without getting distracted. This individual may exhibit some drive and desire to influence; however, the overriding marker of his/her behavior is persistence and stability.

An Administrative Assistant is deeply committed to supporting the CEO in achieving greater and greater levels of success, and to growing his/her own skills and developing into a supportive leader within the team. As the success of the team grows, this individual will be responsible for hiring, training, and leading additional team members to ensure all business functions of the company are completed to high standards with maximum efficiency.

Specific responsibilities include:

•    Managing the client experience with consistent follow up and creating referral opportunities
•    Maintaining and updating business trackers
•    Primary contact for the company internally and externally
•    Zero missed appointments or follow ups by CEO
•    Making sure that all items on action plans are completed and checked off as necessary

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have at least five to eight years of professional experience in finance and administration.  S/he will have experience creating and driving the analytic framework for planning and managing organizational change in a highly entrepreneurial organization.

The Bookkeeper/Financial Clerk will have the following experience and attributes:

 

•    Knowledge of basic real estate principles and more in depth accounting principles
•    Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team.
•    Experience should include legal, audit, compliance, budget, and resource development.
•    Analytical skills including ability to create ledgers, spreadsheets, etc.
•    High proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•    Flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented.
•    Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to Jeff Cook Real Estate mission.

Salary and Hours:

$36,000 plus benefits       Hours: 8:30am – 5pm (Mon – Fri)
